Introducing the Bogle.Tools Annual SAVINGS tool
Are you Prioritizing your Annual Savings correctly?
Financial education is mostly left up to each person. Unfortunately, the cost of not being financially educated is large.
A nod to Bogleheads.org
Bogleheads.org is a fantastic resource for anybody who wants to become financially educated. The group is named after John C. Bogle, the founder of Vanguard and inventor of the first index fund, who was in the investor’s corner for more than 50 years. Can’t say enough good things about Jack Bogle and the Bogleheads!
(Their Getting Started wiki page is a good place to start, or reading the bogleheads.org forums for people with interesting questions,…as well as the Annual Savings tool that I describe below…)
Annual SAVINGS tool
Our Annual Savings tool (bogle.tools/saving) builds on top of Bogleheads.org’s Prioritizing Investments wiki, which is a fantastic and in-depth resource. Unfortunately, that wiki requires detailed reading and perseverance.
We started building our Annual Savings tool with the goal of making it as SIMPLE as possible to enact the advice in the Prioritizing Investments wiki.
It is a tool that assists users through ~10 steps and helps to make them as easy as possible to understand, while still providing content from and links to the steps of the Prioritizing Savings wiki for their in-depth coverage of topics.
